"I did not know much about Reiki before meeting Mary, besides it being a form of alternative medicine that professed to use the patient’s own “life-force” to heal various ailments from chronic disease to acute aches and pains. 

Scientifically trained, I’m a bit of a sceptic but experience teaches one to keep an open mind. Also, more than 40 years of Tai Chi and Taoist therapeutic exercise has convinced me that few of the answers to life’s little mysteries fit into conventional pigeonholes. 

Mary was part of a small group of pilgrims walking the Camino from Porto, Portugal, to the beautiful Cathedral de Santiago de Compostela, in Galicia, northern Spain. During a communal meal by way of an introduction the evening before we set out, she offered Reiki to any of the group who felt the need.

I’d arrived in Portugal with the beginnings of a head-cold -- the first for a few years and a gift from my young grandson -- and Mary offered to help.

She admitted she had not had much experience with the common cold, but she gave it a try. 

It worked. It worked profoundly and completely. 

The pressure in my sinuses disappeared, my airways cleared, and, most striking for me, there was zero migration of the infection to my upper respiratory tract (the usual outcome colds in my experience).

Now, whether or not the effects of Mary’s administrations were the result of a placebo effect, or her activating my body’s Chi which gave my immune system a helpful jolt, I don’t know. And frankly, it doesn’t matter. Her Reiki saved me from several days of a miserable cold.

Worth noting that during the group’s pilgrimage up the coast of Portugal and across Galicia, Mary worked with most of the group and we all found relief from her healing: feet, knees, hips and tired bodies all feeling better because of ExpressReiki!

The final outcome then is a resounding recommendation for Mary as a healer."

"I usually don’t write reviews/testimonials but this time I felt a strong urge to share my experience. Hopefully, someone in need will benefit. At a crossroads in my life, while I was suffering from the array of physical and emotional pains, the friend of mine recommended me to connect with Mary, Reiki healer. "Mary  has given me both in person and remote expressreiki sessions. I was  experiencing some back/shoulder strain, and could immediately feel a  shifting and rebalancing of my back when she worked with me in person.   We have worked together by phone effectively, but what really surprised  me is one day I could feel the shifting in my back when we weren’t on  the phone.
